Personality: As a rival, Fang is shown to be as “Mystery Boy” who is cold and arrogant from his classmates. His academic smarts in Mathematics is a good advantage to him since there are people who didn’t like the subject that much, but he will get quite jealous to someone who surpass his success. He is also fluent in Mandarin and Malay because of his studies in Foreign Language, in contrast to Boboiboy who is fluent in Malay and Japanese. He is not that sociable and prefers to be alone at times but he gets along with others as long as he is good with it and don’t have any choice. However, he is shown to be polite to others and still opening up.
How he got into the Academy: Fang is Boboiboy's rival in his school where he seeks in surpassing his rival's popularity. His aristocratic parents in China have no time to be with him, so he was doing things alone when he was young. In order to get the attention he needed, he began to exceed himself to the top. At the cost of him being the bully in his place, Fang doesn't like that judgement, he have to move to Malaysia so he could restart again. He heard that Boboiboy is more smarter, and cuter than Fang. However, Boboiboy denied those gossips and he tried to befriend Fang. He always challenged Boboiboy in any way such as soccer, he is good in Mathematics so it is an advantage for his academics. However, he witnessed Boboiboy's depression when his school got struck by an earthquake. He knew that his rival wouldn't be the same again until the robot that is close to Boboiboy gets fixed. He began to help his rival not only to compete again, but to see him as a happy boy once more. He helped his friends in passing the exam to San Fransokyo Academy.
