Personality: Hannah, or Yaya, is known to be a well mannered girl around. She is academically smart that she is able to achieve many awards. She follows moral code and she is very strict on whoever break the rules. She is fairly aggressive in academic tests and she will stop at nothing to get to the top. Ying is her academic rival, which it becomes a competition on whoever is the highest. However, they remained friends that the test is just nothing at all. She has a hobby of baking cookies, but it didn’t work the way it looks as it would knock out on whoever dare to eat it. A little note that if she is asking to eat her cookies, it is advisable to be polite in saying "I am full" to her. Running away is not an option.

How she got into the Academy: She lives only with her mother and her little brother, her father died when she was young so she has unknown theories what her father is. She is the class president in her school and she is quite strict in abiding the rules that she will list down anyone whoever didn’t follow it and might get into trouble more. Right after the earthquake, she is planning to continue her studies elsewhere and decided on San Fransokyo Academy for a challenge in order to ace her achievements again. Her friends are in relief not only because she is with them in the Academy, but also her chosen Major that wouldn’t cause any trouble for her. She thought of Home Economics at first, but taken Environmental Studies for the sake of the planet. If there is something she is failed at, it is her baking.
