A little exercise (Tag: Hannah and Ying)

After Hiro was finished with some work, he saw that the professor was out at the moment so, he thought that taking a dip into the water could not be so bad. He had his swimming shorts and does a quick dive into the water and swims back and forth. He wished that he could have done this a couple of times instead of working most of the time in the office. "Ah.." He said to himself, as he was laying on the water with his back on it. Floating was just a relaxing activity...

"I'm so glad we could finally get some time together." Hannah was walking with her best friend Ying when their classes are done. It was a little hot outside and they decided to take a swim, though Hannah wasn't used in having a swimming pool from the inside and her friend is the only one who can get inside because of her class.
"Finally, I can show you this place around! This is going to be awesome!" Ying replied with a joyful skip, she wanted to teach Hannah about the different strokes in swimming. The pool is still empty yet so they can have some fun, or so they thought.

Hannah just saw a young boy lying on his back like he was drowned, her eyes widened and her hands were shaking in thinking of a way to save the boy. "Ying! Ying! Someone's in the pool! He's drowning!"

Without thinking twice, the Chinese dived into the pool and performed Freestyle so fast that she is able to reach him. Though, she has no idea there is a struggle behind her while swimming back to Hannah. It all seemed too fast for Ying as she then performed CPR, Hannah suddenly realised that the boy is not drowned.
Though, she thinks twice whether it is too late to tell her friend as Ying is going to "give him oxygen".

As he was floating around, he heard two young ladies coming into the same area, as he heard one familiar voice, as it was one of the females from the swimming class on the first day of classes. The other did not catch a memory, but, he did not mind meeting other students from other classes. He then heard one girl claiming that he was drowning just because he was in that position, and heard one of the girls coming into the pool to rescue him, and not felt her giving him CPR. He opens his eyes and steps back a little. "Relax girls, I was just floating on my back." He comments, with a small chuckle, and sits in a chair to catch some rays.

Ying, who felt extremely embarrassed and angry of what she did, carried Hiro from the chair and towards the pool out of rage. Hannah can't do anything because it is against her moral code to interfere.
The Chinese had no problem in having a heavy weight, she was just angry of what she did to herself and totally embarrassed her friend in front of her. With her amount of strength, she threw Hiro to the pool. A loud splash of water is what Hannah viewed, while Ying is breathing like a bull.

"Next time you tell me that you're not drowning, do that before I DID THE CPR! Not cool, man! NOT COOL!" Ying walked out to the farthest side of the pool just to have her stretches and try to forget of what happened.

Hannah, meanwhile, reach her hand to the pool. "Oh my goodness, I am so sorry about my friend! It's the first time I saw her like that, please forgive me."

When Hiro saw that one of the the girls, who gave him CPR did look embarrassed from what she did, gave her a sheepishly grin, until he felt her carrying him to the pool, and she was pretty strong for her size. He did not expect her to be like this, but, he had to deal with students like him. "Ah.. what are you doing?" He asked, and raised an eyebrow at her as he had no idea on why she was going that at all. He did feel her muscles, and assumed that she was one of those young women who do body building for a bit. He did do some body building for a while, but, not that often; he saw the other girl seeing what she was doing and wondered if she was going to do anything about it; as the young fourteen old was going to say something, he felt his whole body going into the water. "Ahhh dude..what are you doing?" He called out as he felt the strength of her arms throwing into the water, as he felt the hard splashing going onto his skin. "Wahhhhh!" He exclaimed as he felt the hard water hitting against his skin, and boy, did it feel hard. As he felt his head going up, he quickly swam to the edge of the pool where he heard Ying yelling at him, and she did remind him of Gogo. "Hey, I'll let you know! I was just floating on my back!" He called out, and saw the girl going to the other side of the pool. He then saw the other young girl taking out her hand, and she was apologizing for the other girl's actions. He looked up at her with a small smile, and took her hand and got out of the pool. "Hey, its cool. I know that she meant well. She knows on how to rescue someone quickly..." He responds, and looks at the Asian girl. He then turns to the other girl and smiles at her; "I think I remember her.... I know she's in one of the classes... I seen her a couple of times in the hallways. Ying right?" He asked, with a sheepish smile at her.

When the Chinese heard Hiro's call, she gave him a shaking fist. "YOU LOOKED LIKE A WET DOLL WHEN FLOATING, Yazi Xiao!" Ying's screeching voice echoed the whole room, even emphasising her Chinese. Good thing she is not allowed to say bad words in English, unless it's in Chinese...

Hannah was surprised at her best friend like she never saw Ying being angry like that before, which is weird. She was supposed to be the little shy girl in class, Ying said that Hannah was the one who is the hot head in the group. What caused her to be in rage is what she doesn't know.
"Ying Xiao Huang. It means "Eagle", "Early Morning", and "Yellow"." Hannah corrected Hiro in telling her best friend's full name when Hiro asked about Ying's name, it was her job to memorise her friend's names and their meanings...except one though.

"And yes, she's always in the hallways. I tried to tell her not to run, but she is always in a rush. I always get the feeling she treats the hallway like some track field, and maybe she is." Hannah added until she forgot about herself.
"Oh, I almost forgot. My name is Yaya Yah, but you can call me Hannah." she gave him an introduction of her as she held out her hand in front of him.

"Is your name Hiro Hamada? My friend always talked about you ever since we enrolled here." Hannah then asked Hiro if she was the boy in the orientation.

Once he heard her calling out, he was shocked on how worried she was in her voice, which reminded him of his brother saying something like that when he caught him bot-fighting. That time, Hiro was more risky, unlike the present time. "Wet doll..." That's a new one." He thought to himself and rolled his eyes. He looked at other little girl who indeed looked surprised at the other girl's reaction to him floating. He heard her talking about her friend's name being translated and he nods. "Ah, I see. Interesting...is she always like this?" He asked, and raises an eyebrow and looked at the other girl. He wondered if Ying was one of those students who would worry about other students either being in danger. A student running around in the hallways could be reasonable, as she could be rushing to class or something. "Ah, her thinking that the hallways is a track field. She'll get along with the track coach really quickly." He said, and she saw how active she was. Yup, she could get along with Gogo really quickly. He was about to introduce himself to her until he widened his eyes once she knew her name right away. "Yes, I'm Hiro." He said, and smiles sheepishly. Her friend talking about him all the time...interesting. Most people would know about him since he is the robotics prodigy so, no surprise. "Really. Hope they are all good things." He said, and looked at her and went back to Hannah.

Hannah watched Ying from afar of where she is on the jumping platform, a gentle smile grew on her lips. "She is actually going to practice for the try outs in swimming and track, she really wants to get in there."
When she noticed that Hiro felt uneasy when he was hoping that they're good things about him, it couldn't take off the theory that he went through bad things such as being discriminated by the older people. "Of course, they're all good things! He said that you're cool, and brave too. Even 'Awesome'! He wanted to be like you in making robots to save people...from death." She persuaded Hiro in cheering him up, and gave him the thumbs up. That is until she mentioned "Death"...


Meanwhile, Ying is standing on the platform of where swimmers start at. She was a little nervous at first because she doesn't know how deep the pool is, but she wanted to swim. She took a deep breath and imagined that she was really in the swimming competition, like people cheering. She imagined that the referee blows his whistle and she jumped right off the platform gracefully. Ying performed Freestyle while heading towards the other end of the pool, she was fast enough to reach it in a nick of time.
"Hey, Hannah! How many minutes I finished?" She called her friend from the pool. Unfortunately, Hannah didn't pay attention to the stopwatch she was holding and it went beyond 40 minutes.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry! I forgot to press stop!" Hannah tried to apologize, but Ying looked like she is going to throw a chair to a nearby person.

"DARN IT! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!" She pointed her fingers at Hiro. Though Hannah tried to calm her down, Ying really wanted to punch that guy.

He saw that she was pretty much trying to try out for the swim and track team. He assumed that she was a tomboy, which the academy could get every once in a while. He can tell that she and Gogo could get along really quickly. Hannah was right, Ying had that motivation to get in there. He was nervous about how people would react to him at first because of him being a student aid at this age since it is pretty rare for a kid at fourteen to help other adults, but Hiro was mature enough to deal with adult tasks. He did hear that all the things were good, and he was glad that all the things that Ying mentioned about him were all positive. "Why, thank you very much. I've been into robotics for a long time and now I'm here to help other students have their dream of robotics come alive!" He exclaims, with a smirk as he showed Hannah his bot fighting robot. "This, I had dub working on." He said, with a small smirk and puts it into her hand. He heard the other girl swimming back and forth across the pool and he was impressed by what she did in the pool, until be saw her pointing fingers at him. "Well, looks like someone's a little feisty..." He said, with a small smirk and gives her a thumbs up. "Hey, nice job swimming in there!" He called out.

Hannah placed her feet to the water, it seems in a right temperature for her. She was a little worried, not because she can't swim but because she might get her head cover wet as she is not allowed to remove it and she doesn't have a swimming cap yet.

She saw Hiro's fighting robot, for her it looks weird at first since she never saw a fighting robot before. Though she don't judge him just because it looks weird, but it seems cute too. His smirk, for some reason, looks cute too. She can't help but smile because of him, "Wow...it looks...like a bunny. A black metal bunny...who is smiling..." Hannah can't find the right words to describe that robot.

Though she is glad that Ying came in to the conversation before she say something more awkward.

Ying face is filled with confusion and awkwardness, her right eye twitched a little. She was surprised that Hiro is complementing her, what a dork. What is more surprising is that her cheeks are turning red, she pouted.

"Thanks anyway. But that doesn't mean I forgive you for ruining my record! Now I have to do it all over again!" She decided to lie down to a bench to take a rest, swimming in a fast pace isn't that easy for her and she needs for practice on how to breathe while doing any strokes. That is until there is something came to her mind, she analysed Hiro's body structure (Don't think dirty) and think if he can swim as fast as her. Which it sounds good.

"Hey, Yazi Xia-, I mean, Hiro! You wanna race? Just 3 laps of freestyle, think you can handle it? Just don't be a duckling." She smirked as she taunted Hiro for a swimming race.

He saw that one of the young girls is trying to go swimming and he saw that she was trying to check and see if the right temperature was the right one for her, and it looked like it did after all! He then saw that she was looking up at the little robot that he handed over to her and he could tell that she did admire the work. "Well, I've been working on it for quite a while. Just don't let it get on its wild terms..but, I am glad that you like it." He said, with a small smirk as he remembered using it for a bot-fighting match once, and it did hurt one of the men that he fought with, but, past was in the past. He would only bot-fight for fun, and not for money. He then looked towards at the other girl who did blush by his comment, but, it was more like an embarrassing one. Luckily, no one else was here to notice this, or it would be more super awkward to have a student aid complimenting, as a student aid would give out a comment, a positive comment. He heard the other girl saying first taking the compliment, and heard her asking him if he wanted to swim with her. "Uh.. sure! Just don't throw me in the water again.." He called out to her and walked right up to her. "Hannah, be sure to time it." He said, with a small grin; he walked up to Ying and smirked at her. "Ready when you are.."
