Casually and as inconspicuously as they could, the Triplets entered the library. It was time to set up their second prank of the semester. This one was a bit simpler than their last one and was not really aimed at anyone in particular. This was a more general prank that was aimed at a larger group of people. With this prank, the Triplets were going to for quantity as they wanted to test how some of their larger scale pranks might work.
Quietly, the three of them went into the sports education section where they each a row. Hubert was in charge of the bottom row, Hamish had the middle and Harris was in control of the top row. Carefully, all three of them opened their backpacks and began to take out every third book. Then every third page, they placed a gross, realistic-looking worm, tarantula, or cockroach inside the pages then they carefully put the book back exactly where they found it.
It took them nearly three hours to set up this prank which was why they had gone for a more simplistic mass prank. Now all they had to do was wait and see what happened. Grinning at each other, the Triplets closed their backpacks, each picked out a non-pranked book and settled at one of the tables to read and watch for their first victim. |

So far no one had chosen a pranked book but the 'Wee Devils' were patient as well as mischievous. You had to be when you did pranks as often as the Triplets did. Many of the perfect pranks relied on timing and waiting for that precise moment when your victim sprung the trap and got pranked. It was just a matter of waiting.
The Triplets briefly looked up when Miharu sat down across from them then went back to reading their books. Or so it would seem. Although, none of them looked at the older boy, all three of them were watching him carefully and tracking his every move much like a snake watches for a little mouse to come by.

[Miharu read the book. He sighed and closed the book, and got up. He went and placed the book back, this time getting a pranked book. He looked at the cover.] Huh... My teacher from high school said to train my mind. So with this Ninja Meditation stuff? [For this was the book. He went and sat down across from the triplets again. He opened the book, when really, he doesn't know, he'll expecting a "nice" surprise.]

The Triplets peeked over the tops of their books and watched as the boy opposite them stood up and chose a Pranked book. Hidden behind the large covers of their books, the Triplets looked at each other and shared identical grins of mischievous enjoyment. Any second now the boy opposite them was going to come across one of their 'additions'. Hopefully he wouldn't be too bugged about it.

[Miharu went to the third page, his eyes widen in horror only to see a Tarantula. His body started to shiver, he bit his bottom lip hard as he could, trying to not scream. He didn't notice that he had got up and tripped, the realistic-tarantula falls in his face, Miharu felt his skin go pale.] .. ! !
[ 4... 3... 2... 1.]
EEEEP ! ! !

All three of the Wee Devils burst out laughing as the other boy saw the tarantula, fell to the floor and started screaming. The entire moment was absolutely priceless! Hamish in particular, was laughing so hard that he fell out of his seat which only made all three of them laugh even harder!
A few moments later, once they had all calmed down, the three of them grinned at each other and exchanged high fives. Then they looked in the direction of Miharu, exchanged identical mischievous grins and slowly approached Miharu, almost as if they were hunting him. Slowly the three little boys form a semicircle around Miharu's head and peered down at him. Then Harris quickly plucked the spider off Miharu's head and said "You scream kind of like girl."
