It was a beautiful day outside and Tara and her nephews were enjoying their last day of freedom, so to speak. Soon the school semester would be starting and all four of them would be busy with classes. Tara was starting her teaching career at SanFransokyo Institute of Technology and would be busy with her Visual Arts classes while the boys would be busy starting their university careers.
Tara sighed as she approached the counter to order. She still had trouble wrapping her head around that last bit. She had always known the Triplets were very intelligent little boys but their enrollment had been happened a lot by chance and Tara still wasn't entirely sure how it had happened. For better or worse, a whole school of university students and professors were about to come in contact with the Triplets boundless energy and mischievous intelligence, and no matter what Tara was very proud of them.
"Hello, can I get one green tea latte, three small hot chocolates and...." Before Tara could finish her order, she felt one of the boys tug on her arm. She looked down to see Harris tugging on her shirt while he pointed at a steaming plate of gigantic, freshly made cinnamon buns. Hamish and Hubert had also noticed the wonderful treats and had their faces pressed up against the glass, drooling over the multitude of baked goods. Tara looked back at Harris who was smiling charmingly up at her, with the most hopeful and sweetest face that he could managed. Chuckling to herself, Tara shook her head. "And one cinnamon bun please." Tara said as the sounds of nine high fives being exchanged filled the small coffee shop.

As Cass was working through the day, there was so many students that looked really friendly and kind, and very motivated. She did like them all so far and everyone so far was really kind to her. She then saw a woman coming into the room with some three red-haired little boys, which looked really adorable. She heard her order and she smiled at her with the boys. "Aw, are these your boys? They are really cute!" She said, and saw them pressing their faces against the cinnamon buns. She could babysit these little ones in a second since she had raised Tadashi and Hiro as children before. She cooed at one of them and waved playfully to the other one, since they all looked really cute. She heard their orders and smiled at her. "Ok, three small hot chocolates, one green tea latte, and one cinnamon bun. Got it!" She said, and quickly got the orders ready for them. She did look like a nice person to get along, and she smiled at her as she the food ready for them. "Alright! Anything else?" She asked, with a sweet smile and cooed at the little boys again. "Hello there!" She greeted. "What are their names?" She asked, with a smile on her face.

Cadence had just walked out of the trolley. Her husband was using the automobile that day to take Kirito to the Renaissance fair, that seemed to be in town. She still had to get ready to teach class. She was actually excited to teach English and creative writing that year. She walked into Cass's cafe, which was highly recommended in the San Fransokyo newspaper. She decided to give it a try. As she entered she noticed that a line was forming. She started to take her place at the back of the line.

Tara smiled as the lady whom she assumed was Cass and the owner of the Café, cooed over the triplets. At was often people's first impression of the boys, how long that impression lasted was always interesting. "Yes, these three monkeys are mine and they delight in making my life a zoo." Tara said with joking affection has she ruffled Harris' hair as he was the closest one to her, who immediately frowned and batted his aunt's hand away. None of the Triplets really enjoyed people touching their hair and Harris especially hated it. Tara chuckled and turned back to Cass. "They're my nephews technically but I adopted them when their father and his wife passed on." Tara said.
"No, Thanks. That's everything." Tara said with a smile to Cass as she moved to the side so that the next person could put in their order but she would still be able to continue her conversation with Cass. She shot a stern look at Harris who had been about to try and push his luck by seeing if her could wheedle his aunt into buying him and his brothers cookies as well. However, the look on his aunt's face made it clear that he was not going to get anything else out of her. Sighing, Harris smiled up at Cass and waved back at her, using all the child-like charm that he had in him.
At this point, Hamish noticed that he was being talked about as well and moved closer to where Harris and his aunt Tara were standing. He stood up on his tip-toes and peered over the counter to look up at the Cass. Grinning, the cheeky red-head put his open-hand to his mouth and blew Cass a kiss. He then shot a quick look at Harris as if to say 'Try and beat that!". Harris, just rolled his eyes and glared at his brother.
Tara just shook her head. "Well that little charmer is Hamish and beside him is Harris and Hubert is..." Tara looked around. Where had Hubert wandered off to? Being the 'quiet' one of the group, Hubert had a tendency to wander and get lost in his own little head. "Hubert?" Tara said as she looked around for her nephew.
While his aunt had been talking with Cass, Hubert had lost interest in looking at the sweets in the display window. You could only stare at what you couldn't have for so long before you started to get really hungry. So Hubert had decided to look around the café for a book or newspaper to read. He found a pile of them near the door and took two, one for him and one for his aunt. Carefully, Hubert opened up a book and started reading. He was so focused on what he was reading that he didn't watch where he was going and bumped into a lady who was waiting in line for coffee. Startled and a little afraid, Hubert glanced up at the blond, pink and purple haired woman, his big, green eyes wide with shock.

When she saw the young woman revealing that the three boys are her sons, she chuckled. "Well, I have to say, I ended up raising my two nephews, and they could be a little rowdy at times, but, I taught them on how to be kind to one another." She commented with smile and remembered what it was like to be guardian parent to her own nephews, and it was nice while it lasted during their childhood. She then heard her mention that they were her nephews and she did feel a little heartbroken when their parents "passed on" and she nods. "Well, so did my family as well. Hiro, Tadashi, and Eivi's parents died, so, I decided to take them all in.." She said, with a small sigh but, she remained positive about this. Being a guardian and Aunt to each of her nephew and niece was not such a bad idea. Once she heard her mention saying that her order was done, she quickly made the drinks ready, and took out the snack for the boys to share. She then saw the one of the boys acting up, and she chuckled slightly, as she remembered the boys doing the same thing in one toy store. "Ah, kids, they are quite the fun little ones to play with." She said, with a small little chuckle as she saw one of them trying to get cookies; she then saw one of the boys blowing a kiss at her and she quickly blew one back with a small wave, and just thought that they were charming and adorable. She then looked up at Tara, as she tried to remember all of their names, "Alright...so, the charmer is Hamish, the other one is Harris.." She then saw another one walking around the cafe to grab something. "So, I assume the bookworm is Hubert." She said, with a small little giggle appearing upon her face. If she gets to babysit the boys, they could be fun to play with, and it would be just like the good old days where she had to watch her nephews.

Cadence decided to go off and saw a little boy reading a book. She walked up to the little lad. "I see someone likes books. What are you reading? May I ask?" she asked with a very sweet smile. She decided to leave the line for later and go back in line a bit later. She knew that the boy's mother would be around here somewhere. Yet the lad looked like a nice little lad.

"Auntie Tara, Hubert is over there." Harris said, pointing out his brother. Tara looked over in the direction that Harris was pointing and saw her nephew talking with a lady whom Tara vaguely recognized as another professor. Or rather, the lady was trying to talk to Hubert but her poor nephew was getting extremely nervous. "I'm going over there." Harris told her and began walking in Hubert's direction. He had sensed his brother's anxiety as well.
Once Tara had located her nephew and that he would be alright, she directed her attention back to what Cass was saying. She nodded sympathetically when Cass told her about her own family. She felt like both she and Cass had faced similar challenges in raising their nephews and trying to deal with the tragic circumstances. Tara had been caring for the boys for three years now and it was still a bit to manage. "I can imagine some of the struggles. Oh by the way, I'm Tara MacQueen the new Visual Arts professor at SanFransokyo Institute. I'm assuming you are Cass Hamada? I just hear you and this café being mentioned a lot whenever I stop by the staff room. I also heard that you do poetry nights?" Tara asked. She had always enjoyed going to poetry readings and was hoping to find a place that she could go to occasionally.
She smiled as Cass responded to Hamish is kiss by blowing him one back. "Yup, that's all of them." Tara said as Cass listed their names. "Unless they figured out away to clone themselves and hid the clones somewhere in the house." She said jokingly. Hamish grinned back at Cass and giggled when she waved at him. He had decided that the café lady was rather nice and he hoped that his family would come back often. Perhaps there would even be away to get free sweets out of this. But even if they didn't, he still thought she was a very nice lady. He hoped that Hubert would like her too and not get nervous the way he always did when he met new people.
Hubert gulped and just continued to stare up at the lady who was now talking to him. Oh, where in the world was his aunt?! He had never done well with strangers and preferred to let his aunt or his brothers to speak for him. Frantically, Hubert looked around for his family and clutched the books to his chest.
"Hi! His name's Hubert and I'm Harris! Who are you?" Harris said as he got to his brother and the lady who was talking to him. He casually looped an arm around his brother's shoulder which immediately helped Hubert to relax and not feel so anxious.
"It's called 'The Martian'. It's about Mars." Hubert mumbling as he quietly answered the question. He showed her the other book which was called 'Everything seeing is Being'. "This one is for my aunt to read." He told her quietly.
((I think Hamish might be experiencing a little puppy love.))

When Cass was watching one of triplets going around the cafe, she thought it was cute to see him trying to act adult like, by just seeing talking to one of the professors. She then saw another brother going towards the other one, and thought it was nice of them to keep one another company. She then saw the woman'a look of sympathy on her face when talking about her story. "Yeah, the struggles were hard, and it did take a while to get over their parents' death.." She said, with a small sigh; she didn't like to think about it too much. She then heard her introducing herself as "Tara" and she nods. "Oh, you're a professor! Hiro, one of my nephews is an aid, and he's pretty excited to be in your class. I'm sure met him..." She said, with a large smile. When she mentioned her name, Cass nods. "Yes, I am Cass Hamada, and I do poetry nights! Every Wednesday nights! Feel free to stop by!" She suggested, with a giant smile. The conversation transitioned from the poetry night to the boys, and she was giggling with her comment. "Well, I could imagine them doing something like that.." She said, with a chuckle; she did smile at the boys, and she thought that they were all really cute and playful, especially one of them whom she can tell was somewhat liking her already. ((Aww!))
