Gareki had never had a roommate before and if he he was being honest to himself, he wasn't really sure what to make of it. His blue eyes wandered around the halls of the room until he found his own, 217. It seemed simple enough to remember, and convenient considering it was right near a vending machine.
Once opening the door, he found that to his surprise that the room was actually very nice, and even had enough space for both him and his roommmate who ever that would be. "Swanky." he muttered before slinging off his backpack onto a bed and started to unpack. There wasn't much there, Gareki hadn't exactly gone out of his way to get things.
"Wonder who this new roommate will be?" he said quietly to himself

Tamaki walked down the halls of the dorm and found his room, "217 huh? that's good with me." he said smiling. he noticed the door was already opened and figured his roommate was already inside, "Well alright then, guess i better make a good impression." he said opening the door, "Good evening my friend, My name is Tamaki Suoh and i will be your new roommate." he said in his usual happy tone

Gareki blinked at the newcomer, this was his roommate. Well, he certainly knew how to make an entrance. How did one respond to that? 'Just introduce yourself.' a voice in his head nagged him, he at least had to be nice.
"Name's Gareki." He said simply, it wasn't the best introduction but he supposed it could have been better, slowly he gave a small smile.

Tamaki smiled back and extended his hand for a handshake, "Please to meet you Gareki, well looks like you and i will be roommates then, well if you ever need help with anything let me know alright." he said beaming with pride as usual

Gareki gave a small nod, not sure what to say, no one had really offered that kind of thing before. At least not in his life time and so all he could do was nod. He shook the other's hand. "I am not sure i can offer the same to you, but I can try."

Tamaki only nodded and brought in his 4 HUGE bags with his things, "I guess I'll take the other side of the room then." he said walking over to the other bed and opening one of his bags, which was full of clothes

"You need any help with that?" Gareki asked, he couldn't help but be impressed by the size of the huge bags. Compared to his tiny camper bag, he felt slightly underpacked. There was nothing about it that could be done but he felt that the game designer should lend a hand or two.

"Oh no its alright really, I'm just trying to remember what bag has what." Tamaki said waving his hand, "But could you open up that blue trunk, i forgot whats in there, I think it's all my school stuff." he said pointing to a trunk by the edge of the bed.

Geez, how much stuff did this kid have? Was it really that important to bring everything that was needed in school. Gareki didn't want to offend him though by voicing his own comments, and nodded before opening the trunk.
So far, the room situation didn't seem like a bad one. Tamaki seemed alright

Tamaki looked in the trunk that Gareki opened and saw that it was his school stuff, "Ah yes that is the right case, just leave it there for me please, and for the last two bags, i'll get them myself." he said smiling, 'he seems like a nice guy, maybe we will get along just fine' he said to himself

Gareki glanced at the other two bags and nodded, "If you're sure." It didn't matter much if Tamaki didn't want the help after all, he knew what it would be like to have another stranger going through his stuff.
He leaned against the side of his bed, thinking of something to ask, but nothing was coming to mind

Gareki thought about how to answer that. The past wasn't any of Tamaki's business, but it couldn't hurt to explain how he got into the school. "I ended up impressing the dean and several professors at a showcase." he said adjusting his gloves. "I hear the video game design program is pretty good so..."

Tamaki listened to what Gareki said and nodded, "Interesting, so your a programmer of sorts huh? That sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Me personally I took an entrance exam and passed, who would have thought that french would get me this far." he said with a chuckle.

"French huh? Never one for foreign languages myself." he shrugged, however he was impressed. He would have never gotten that far in another language. He smirked though. "Both of us seem like very different people. Hope things go well."
