Personality: Due to his harsh childhood, Gareki does not trust people easily and comes off as cold towards people. He hardly ever makes friends. It is shown that he is very intelligent especially in around computers. He is sneaky and clever. While he may come off as cold, he does have a soft spot for kids. His mind is wrapped around the idea of hurting others is wrong and would never want to kill anyone. He is very closed off in emotions. Gareki can be very hard on himself, especially on his mistakes.
History: Gareki grew up in a rough childhood, his mother died when he was very young, and grew up with a mental and psychically abusive to the boy. His father believed that his son would never accomplish anything in his life and that he was nothing but garbage. As Gareki grew up he started to shut off his emotions from people, not wanting pity. Gareki found that he had a knack for computers and was a genius on them. One night his father's abuse got so bad that Gareki was forced to flee the house, he lived on the streets doing odd jobs for people, this caused him develop street-smarts. Many gangs often wanted him on their side, but Gareki refused. During his childhood, Gareki developed the passion to make a video game. He wanted to prove to his father that he could be successful.
How they got into the Academy: Despite his rough background, Gareki ended up entering a contest to show off possible new video game designs. While it wasn't completed, the professors were impressed by the ideas that he was hoping to create. He gained a scholarship into the academy
