Heather hugged her notebook to her chest as she walked down the hall. She never put it in her bag just in case she was purse napped or she misplaced it or something. If she was holding onto it, she knew where it was at all times. On the perfectly straight lines of each page, Heather had been wrote her stories, works of fiction from the deepest parts of her mind. Stories she hoped being in college would strengthen. She looked at her scheduled one more time to make sure she was in the right place before walking into the English classroom, filled with excitement.

Cadence was in her class room, trying to make everything ready. Filling the room with all types of literature from horror to science fiction to fantasy to non fiction. All types of books. As she was placing the last book on her shelf. She looked over towards the door. "May I help you with something?" she said in her sweet way.

Heather put on her best smile and straightened her posture. She took a confident step forward, weaving through the desks so she could approach her new teacher. "Yes, hi! I'm Heather Houffman and I'm a creative writing teacher. I'll be attending your class this semester. I was just coming to scope things out so I wouldn't get lost on the first day. I prefer to be punctual that way."

"Oh, I'm sure I'll love it. Writing is my passion! Its what really keeps me going in life." Growing up, writing was Heathers best friend. He sister Astrid constantly got all the praise for being the athletic one so when Heather felt lonely or left out, she'd write to escape. The dark haired student blushed at the teacher, seeming almost awestruck. "I've actually read a few of your books. Its quite an honor to actually meet you. You're extraordinary!"

Cadence blushed a bit, a bit flattered by the girls last comment. "Thank you, Heather. I'm glad that you enjoyed them." Her blush started to fade away. "I'm also glad that you love writting. I am really looking forward to seeing what you write." she smiled as she tried to act professional.

Heather batted her long lashes, her green eyes shining brightly at her new teacher. She was a huge suck up and everyone in High School called her Teachers Pet. She didn't deny it either. "That's why I'm so excited to take this class! I know I'll probably never be as good as you, but I'll sure try. If you want, I'll leave you my notebook and you can read my short stories. Some are better than others of coarse!"

Cadence smiled. Happy to see the girl's enthusiasm about writting and about her class. She was actually flattered a bit. "I would honestly love to see your work, Heather. Always feel free to show me any of your stories."
