Astrid is very very tough. She's athletic, participating in abstract sports such as archery as well as swimming and track. Under her tough exterior though, she's very sweet and a born leader. She doesn't tolerate the bullying of others although she is often the subject of bullying herself. If she likes you, she'll protect you with her life, but don't get on her bad side.
How they got into the Academy:
Although her academics arn't that great, she was able to get into the academy on a sports scholarship(and a little help from her parents, considering her twin would be attending as well)
