As Tadashi walked into the library, he was looking for the quiet section since he needed an area to study for an upcoming test. He had plenty of tests and homework to do so, he sat down and started to do it. He should picked out this place a long time ago instead of studying at the cafe all the time since it could get noisy at times, especially on the weekends where everyone goes there to chit-chat and hang out. While studying, he started to have a quick flashback to when he was at the hospital and people kept on asking the doctors if he was alive after that one fire incident. The doctors did say yes, but, he has Amnesia; so, in order to become successful in life, he had to reapply to college and re-learn everything. Then, there was the Tadashi Hamada hall, where he hears many people asking, if he is alive or not. Of course, he is alive. He is around the campus or the cafe so, he still did not understand why people become surprised. He even spoke at the orientation about him suffering with this illness, and he is proud to this day to get that out. He just hoped that someone won't come at him as a surprising guest instead of a student to say "hello to."

Gaara sat quietly at the very back of the library just out of sight. He flipped through the pages of an old Celtic book. His mind slowly fading in and out of memories. The silence... he found comfort in it. Since he was young he had kept to himself. He didn't like people because he had always been hurt by them. He was surprised that he was even still in this school. He never went to class and no one seemed to even notice his existence. He sighed heavily as he did feel somewhat his own mortality and loneliness.

While being in the same area, he does see this guy with red hair and he was reading a book of some sort. He can tell that this student was more into ancient history of some sort. Tadashi could see that he was into reading something like that can catch someone interest. He saw that was feeling a little down about something but, he did not want to disturb him of some sort. He heard his sigh, and saw that he was feeling lonely so, he pulls up a chair quietly with his homework and all. "Hey, everything alright?" He asked, with a sympathetic look on his face.

Gaara looked above the edge of his book as a young man sat down in front of him. He glared not in anger but in curiosity as to why this stranger was talking to him.

He saw that the young man was glaring at him and he did flinch a little. He was not sure if he needed to be alone at the moment due to reading that book, or if he was in one of those moods where he just needed a place to sit down to get away from the loud noises at the cafe or the rest of the campus. Tadashi looked at his gaze again and saw that it was not in anger, which gave him an opportunity to talk to the guy. "You looked like you needed some company..." He said, with a small look of sympathy again. He then saw the book that he was reading and nods his head. "The book that you are reading...looks very...interesting." He whispers.

"ya..." Gaara heard himself speak for the first time in a long time. It was almost foreign to him. He looked away from the stranger. Why was this guy wanting to talk to a nobody like him.

This guy did seem sort of interested in talking to him about the book he was reading. He was not sure what kind of book it was, but, he did not mind talking about it with him, as he did assume that he was the reading person, but, did not want to say anything out of left field. "So, I can tell that you do like Celtic History.. I know a good history professor that will admire you for reading something like that." He complimented, with a small grin. He did look pretty lonely, Tadashi hoped that starting up a conversation would be a good start on his end.

"Um... Thanks..." Gaara was able to mutter. He did kinda find this guy odd but quite inviting. "What kind of books to you like to read?" Gaara asked.

Hearing that mumble made Tadashi feel as though he was willing to being friends, slowly, and he did hope that he and this guy could get along pretty quickly. "Hey, no problem. Are you a history major?" He asked, as though he was just out of curiosity; he wondered if he more into the Celtic Historical time period since he did look like he was into it really quickly. He then heard him asking a question regarding on what kind of things he liked to read, and he had to think silently for a moment to answer that question. "Hm, depends. I like reading anything robotics related since that is my major.. again." He said, with a small sigh. "I just have to catch up on reading my robotics textbook since I have Amnesia.." He responds. He hoped that he could understand that he had an illness that he cannot get away from. He knew that he had to take his medicine when needed though..
