Himari wasn't sure how to react to the entrance of the cafeteria. She hadn't really thought about how anyone would treat her. She hadn't gone to school since her accident. The girl knew that no one was mean enough to make fun of her but she didn't want pity either.
Slowly, she made her way into the cafeteria, there were many students who were already eating, there was no need for a chair anyways. She found it kind of funny, having made her lunch earlier that morning, she searched for a spot. Confusion filled her eyes.
Where could she sit?

Naegi had been in the cafeteria for a while now, it would seem that he choose one of the noisiest places to study and to get something to eat. Maybe, it wasn't the best idea after all? He always seemed to be sitting alone. He noticed a oarnge haired girl looking for a seat. "Excuse me, are you looking for a seat?" he asked.

The girl in the wheelchair heard the voice and turned to the boy with a small smile. "Ah, yes, I was." she said quietly, hoping that her wheelchair wouldn't make him change his mind, she wanted to meet some new friends. "Can i sit with you?"

Naegi looked at the girl in the wheelchair once again. "Uh sure." He said standing up and moving a chair to the side. "Yes you may. My name is... Naegi. Naegi Makoto. Nice to meet you."

Himari smiled as she rolled the chair over to where he had cleared the way for her. "Thank you." she smiled brightly. "I'm Himari Takakura." she said giving a small smile. "Nice to meet you Naegi."

"It's so nice, though i was a bit surprised at how big it was!" she said happily as she opened up her small lunchbox and took a bite of carrot sticks. "I've never been to such a large school before, I am really excited for my new life to start here."
She blushed a bit realizing she was rambling. "Oh, Um, I'm sorry I just never had anyone to talk to before. How about Naegi how do you like the school?"

Naegi gave a smile. "I actually have to agree. The school is very big, yet I think my surprise was how nice everyone has been." He said as honestly as he could. At his old school, everyone was pretty much jerks. There wasn't a day that passed by when Naegi wasn't stuffed into a locker. So to come to this college it was a nice change.

Himari's smile slowly disappeared at that. "Were people mean to you at your old school?" she asked. The idea of anyone being mean to any student was horrible. She knew that there were bullies but the idea that someone would be mean to Naegi made her mad.
"That's horrible if they were. You are very nice, I mean you offered me to sit with you."

Naegi gave a nice little smile, but as sad as it was. He did speak the truth. If he wasn't bullied, he was always the wallflower. The person that no one wanted to be around. Yet he always remained optimistic and hopeful that something good would come around. "I'm actually honored that you sat with me. I thank you. To answer your question, yes, I was a tad."

Himari frowned again, Naegi seemed like a sweet and nice boy. Why would people pick on him? Rather than dwell on the past she smiled. "Well, I was just glad you offered a seat. It's always awkward when you don't know anyone in a school."

"Right now I am taking Music with Dracula?" Himari said the name with a confused look, it was very strange that a teacher would call themselves that. He did seem to look the part. "I'm majoring in Music Performance."

Naegi smiled, he wished that he could actually for once make up his mind on what he would want to study. Some of the classes sounded really fun. Himari's included. "That sounds nice. So what insterement do you play?"

"Piano." Himari answered simply, smiling brightly. It was nice to actually be able to talk to another student about her passion, someone that wasn't her parents. "What about you Naegi? What are you studying?"
She was curious to know what kind of degree this student would be getting. Something about it seemed like Naegi had a hard time, she could just sort of sense it
